Description:  The Evil Within Game known in Japan as Psychobreak (. Nn サ イ コ ブ レ イ ク Saykobureyku "Psycho-gap") - a computer game in the genre survival horror and third-person shooter developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks  for Microsoft Windows platforms PlayStation 3 Xbox 360 PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2014.  The game was developed under the direction of Shinji Mikami creator of the series Resident Evil.  It has no story connection with Resident Evil but includes a number of similar themes images and gameplay elements.

The Evil Within Game The main hero of the game police Detective Sebastian Castellanos in the investigation of the massacre in a psychiatric hospital falls into the scary world inhabited by monsters and filled with images of destruction and violence.  Before the player seeks to escape and unravel the mysteries with which he faced during the game.  The game features high complexity in many cases preferable to hide or run away from enemies than to engage them in battle.

The  The Evil Within Game received mixed reviews gaming press critics praised the horror component of the game and level design but said it is secondary in relation to the older games of the genre and numerous technical problems.  Being a game focused on the Western audience The Evil Within gained commercial success in the US and Europe but much smaller in their home country - in Japan.  The game's plot was continued in three downloadable add-ons the first of which The Assignment was released in March 2015.  The second expansion The Consequence came out in April.  In both of the players had to assume the role of co-worker Sebastian - Julie Kidman.  Action additions occurred parallel to the events of the main game.  In the third addendum The Executioner published in May 2015 told the story of one of the antagonists of the game - Guardian (aka Seyfogolovy)
